TERMS & CONDITIONS
AGREEMENT OF PARTICIPATION, LIABILITY WAIVER & RELEASE
Last Updated: December 2025
THIS IS A BINDING LEGAL AGREEMENT. Please read this document carefully. By submitting your application and transferring your deposit for the Higher Self Expedition: Egypt Mission 2026 (here in after referred to as “The Expedition”), you (the “Participant”) agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth below by One Language Media, Creator Nature, and the organizers Frank Joseph IVÂ and Nicolai Engelbrecht (collectively referred to as “The Organizers”).
I. FINANCIAL POLICY & PAYMENTS
1.1. NATURE OF THE EXPEDITION The Participant acknowledges that The Expedition is a limited-capacity, high-logistics operation involving the advance procurement of private aviation charters, private yacht leases, security permits, and 5-star accommodation blocks. Significant non-recoverable costs are incurred by The Organizers immediately upon the Participant’s booking.
1.2. PAYMENT SCHEDULE
-
Deposit: To confirm a reservation, a 50% Deposit of the total Expedition fee is required upon acceptance of the application.
-
Final Balance: The remaining 50% Balance must be paid in full no later than February 15, 2026.
-
Late Payment: Failure to settle the final balance by February 15, 2026, constitutes a material breach of this agreement. The Organizers reserve the right to cancel the Participant’s reservation and retain the full deposit as liquidated damages.
1.3. STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY
-
Non-Refundable: All payments made to The Organizers (including the Initial Deposit and the Final Balance) are 100% non-refundable and non-transferable under any and all circumstances.
-
No Cancellation Window: There is no “cooling off” period or cancellation window. Once funds are transferred, they are committed to the logistics of the trip.
-
No Exceptions: This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including but not limited to: personal emergencies, work commitments, medical conditions, COVID-19 or other illness, missed flights, or change of mind.
1.4. MANDATORY TRAVEL INSURANCE Because our policy is strictly non-refundable, it is mandatory that the Participant purchases comprehensive Travel Insurance. We strongly recommend a “Cancel For Any Reason” (CFAR) policy, which is the sole remedy for the Participant to recover costs in the event they are unable to attend.
II. CANCELLATION BY THE ORGANIZERS
2.1. ORGANIZER TRACK RECORD In over 10 years of facilitating international retreats and expeditions, the Facilitators have never cancelled an event. We view our commitment to the container as absolute.
2.2. UNLIKELY CANCELLATION In the extreme and unlikely event that The Organizers must cancel The Expedition due to reasons within their control, the Participant will be offered a choice between:
-
A full refund of all monies paid.
-
A transfer of credit to a future Expedition.
2.3. FORCE MAJEURE The Organizers shall not be liable for failure to perform their obligations if such failure is a result of Acts of God, war, invasion, act of foreign enemies, hostilities, civil war, rebellion, revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power, confiscation, terrorist activities, nationalization, government sanction, blockage, embargo, labor dispute, strike, lockout, pandemic, or interruption or failure of electricity or telephone service (collectively “Force Majeure”).
-
In the event of a Force Majeure cancellation, The Organizers will make every reasonable effort to reschedule The Expedition. No cash refunds will be issued; a credit for the rescheduled dates will be applied.
III. TRAVEL DOCUMENTS & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
3.1. PASSPORT VALIDITY It is the sole responsibility of the Participant to ensure their passport is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the date of entry into Egypt (i.e., valid until at least October 2026). The Organizers are not responsible if the Participant is denied entry/boarding due to an expired or invalid passport. No refund will be issued in such cases.
3.2. VISAS The Participant is responsible for obtaining a valid tourist visa for Egypt (available on arrival for many nationalities, or via e-visa). The Organizers are not responsible for visa denials.
IV. MEDICAL FITNESS & HEALTH
4.1. FITNESS TO TRAVEL The Participant certifies that they are physically and mentally fit to participate in activities including: 4×4 desert travel, hiking, walking in heat, and swimming/snorkeling in the open ocean.
4.2. DISCLOSURE The Participant agrees to disclose any serious medical conditions, chronic illnesses, or severe allergies to The Organizers prior to travel.
4.3. MEDICAL EMERGENCY In the event of a medical emergency, The Organizers are authorized to secure medical treatment on the Participant’s behalf. The Participant accepts full financial responsibility for any medical expenses, transport costs, or evacuation fees incurred.
V. ITINERARY CHANGES
5.1. FLEXIBILITY Egypt is a dynamic environment. While we aim to adhere strictly to the published itinerary, The Organizers reserve the right to alter routes, schedules, transportation methods, or accommodation due to:
-
Weather conditions (e.g., sandstorms, sea conditions).
-
Government or military security directives.
-
Operational safety concerns.
5.2. NO COMPENSATION Changes to the itinerary for reasons of safety or logistics do not constitute a breach of contract, and no refund or compensation will be offered for such adjustments.
VI. CODE OF CONDUCT & EXPULSION
6.1. GROUP HARMONY The Expedition is a curated container for high-frequency growth. The Participant agrees to act with respect, integrity, and personal responsibility towards the Facilitators, local staff, and fellow participants.
6.2. ZERO TOLERANCE The Organizers maintain a zero-tolerance policy for:
-
Possession or use of illegal drugs (Egypt has extremely strict narcotics laws).
-
Sexual harassment or aggressive behavior.
-
Racism, discrimination, or verbal abuse.
-
Disregard for safety instructions given by the Facilitators or Security Team.
6.3. RIGHT TO EXPEL The Organizers reserve the right to remove any Participant from The Expedition at any time if their behavior is deemed dangerous, illegal, or disruptive to the group container. In such an event, the Participant will be responsible for their own return transport and accommodation, and no refund will be issued for the unused portion of the trip.
VII. LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
7.1. ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK The Participant understands that traveling in Egypt and engaging in adventure activities involves inherent risks which cannot be eliminated. These risks include, but are not limited to: accidents involving motor vehicles, aircraft, or boats; hazards of walking on uneven terrain; interactions with wildlife; risks associated with food and water; and political instability.
7.2. RELEASE OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Participant hereby releases, waives, discharges, and covenants not to sue The Higher Self Expedition, One Language Media, Frank Joseph IV, Nicolai Engelbrecht, their agents, employees, volunteers, and contractors (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by the Participant.
7.3. INDEMNIFICATION The Participant agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or costs, including court costs and attorney fees, that they may incur due to the Participant’s participation in The Expedition.
VIII. MEDIA RIGHTS
8.1. CONTENT CAPTURE The Participant acknowledges that professional photography and videography will occur throughout The Expedition.
8.2. GRANT OF RIGHTS The Participant grants The Organizers and One Language Media an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use their image, likeness, voice, and appearance in any media (now known or hereafter created) for marketing, advertising, documentary, or commercial purposes.
8.3. OPT-OUT If the Participant strictly requires anonymity for professional or safety reasons, they must submit a Media Opt-Out Request in writing to the Organizers no later than March 1, 2026.
BY SUBMITTING MY DEPOSIT, I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ THIS ENTIRE AGREEMENT, I UNDERSTAND IT, AND I AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS.
